This Biblical Study Program to Turkey offers an immersive experience into the world of the New Testament, following in the footsteps of Paul and the early disciples as they took the Good News to the Nations. We will engage the history, archaeology, culture, and geography of the Bible visiting carefully selected sites throughout Turkey, including all seven cities mentioned in Revelation.

This trip includes some long bus rides to rural locations; hospitals will not always be as easily accessible from some of our more rural destinations. Each day will require at least 3-4 miles of walking. Expect to be walking up and down hills, stairs, and along dirt, rock, and cobbled pathways. To prepare, engage in cardio exercise so you can get the most out of your experience with less fatigue as we make the most of each day in the land and ancient world of the Bible.

Travel the Text offers unique study trips rather than traditional tours. Study trips are distinctly different from tours, offering in-depth cultural teaching and study at carefully selected sites throughout the land. These include valuable well-known destinations and many impactful sites off the beaten path.

Your teacher for this journey is Geoff Carroll of Travel the Text. He is passionate about bringing people to this land to engage the history, culture, geography, archaeology, and ancient perspectives of the Bible. Geoff has studied in this land with many teachers including renowned archaeologists, religious leaders, and valued local families and friends. His formal education includes a Master of Divinity, and additional graduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which combine with over a decade of experience leading study trips throughout the lands of the Bible. Even so, the curriculum for this Biblical Study Trip is designed to allow the land itself to become your teacher.
